Panic and anxiety
Panic attacks are terrifying. And as soon as it is over, you start worrying about when the next one will come, where you will be, how long it will take. So the fear of the next one becomes its own prison.
You start avoiding places, situations, anything that might trigger another attack. You become hypervigilant, constantly scanning your body for warning signs.
You might recognize yourself here if you:
· Experience sudden heart racing, shortness of breath, feeling like you're dying
· Avoid driving, crowds, or situations where you've panicked before
· Constantly scan your body for signs another attack is coming
· Feel trapped by the fear of fear itself
How EMDR helps you eliminate the fear:
Traditional therapy teaches you to manage panic. EMDR 2.0 helps you eliminate it.
We target the root, the triggers that set off your alarm system, and reprocess them. Your brain learns the threat isn't real. The panic stops.
Faster than months of breathing exercises. More lasting than coping skills.
We'll also talk when you need to. Sometimes you need to process what's happening emotionally, not just neurologically. We use both.
