Couples therapy can help you and your partner to find the connection you once had, find effective ways of communicating with each other, understand each other's needs and wants, develop a way of compromising that will benefit the relationship and more. Together we will work on a plan that meets your needs as a couple, to have a strong and healthy relationship.
Therapy can help you find what is holding you back. Together we will discover the negative inner voices that are keeping you stuck and modify the message. Through counseling you can discover the obstacles and eliminate them so you can grow and move forward.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Your needs and goals are the driving force of counseling. Together we will establish goals for therapy and ways in which your faith will be incorporated into the treatment plan so you can live the life that God has designed for you. Through Christian counseling you can heal while also turning towards your faith.
Each individual is unique. Together we will work on finding the right techniques for the symptoms that are impacting your daily activities. You will experience some relief quickly. Then we will move on to uncovering the root of the trauma to better understand its impacts and how to overcome it. Therapy will help heal the past so you can thrive.
Grief and loss
Grief is unique. Together we will work on a plan to meet your individual needs. For some people it is important that they maintain a relationship with the deceased. For others finding meaning or purpose after a loss is needed. Sometimes it is as simple as realigning your focus. Other times, there may be deep layers of history that need to be untangled. You are unique and so are your feelings.
Therapy is about YOU and YOUR needs. First sessions are designed to explore those needs and develop an action plan to understand and deal with each one. In our subsequent sessions we will work to discover techniques that will help you find peace with the past and move forward.
